My story begins when i was just in my second year of college. i was a above average student and was even a deans lister in my university. My routine was to school and home. occasionally i go out with my high school buddies.
I was introduce with crystal meth(shabu which is commonly called in the philippines) by my high school buddy. At first i thought i could control my use. but i didnt notice that i was already using it everyday.
My day would'nt be good or i won't feel good without using it. I would even use it 2 to 4 times a day. i was'nt going to class anymore because once i get high i just hang around my drug buddies.
Worse of all i started stealing money from my parents to satisfy my need. i started pawning and selling all my valuables, my watches, my gold necklace and bracelet, and even my shoes.
When my parents caught me stealing from them i denied being a user. i told them i just needed the money coz i'm always dining out with my girlfriend. Even when i got married and had a child i was still using it everyday. I was not thinking of my family, i was just thinking when my next hit will be.
When i started gambing at the casino things were worse to worst. i would also need money not only to get high but also to gamble. i was stealing an average of $100 a day from my parents. because my parents was so understanding they would just forgive me but i kept on doing it over and over again.
I just realized that i neglected my family and myself when my 2nd child was born. she is my angel. i was still using it but only occasionally. but i know i have to end it.
so when somebody offered me job abroad i accepted it right away so that i would be in another environment and i can concentrate on my job and nothing else.
now im 4 months clean and i didnt even went into rehab and i thank the lord for giving me this opportuniy to live clean and happy.
