Two Toronto men have been arrested after police intercepted a shipment of drugs investigators say was destined for British Columbia.

On Oct. 17, police executed a search warrant at a trucking terminal in Vaughan.

Police seized 29 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine, along with 128 litres of precursor chemicals. After further investigation, police executed four more search warrants in Toronto and Markham between Oct. 18 and 22.

In addition to the original shipment, police seized eight ounces of crystal meth, 13 ounces of ketamine and 1,500 ecstasy tablets.

Police have charged Bo Liu, 21, and Minh Tuan, 34, both of Toronto, with trafficking methamphetamine. Liu also faces three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
