I was 18 years old when I first really tried crystal meth. The seconed I started smoking it, I was addicted. I just didnt know it yet. I loved the rush, the excitement, the energy that I recieved from it. I didnt care about anyone but myself and how I was going to get the next hit. My life started going to shit. I lost all of my family and all of my real friends that I once had. The new friends that I had really werent friends at all.
They had something that I wanted and I had something that they wanted. It was just one sick cycle that I didnt know how to get off of. I lost jobs, my home, but most importantlyh I lost myself. Today, I'am trying to learn who I'am. It is difficult at times, the cravings are so strong at times. And life just seems so hard.
But I just take deep breaths and beging to meditate and trust in something greater than myself that will help me get through it all. Today, I dont want to die anymore. I want to live so that I can tell my story and maybe help someone who is stuck where I once was....
