Society president Mark McLaughlin has won an award from Volunteer Vancouver recognizing the work of the Crystal Meth Victoria Society and the SD61 Community Task Force on Meth.
The Canada Volunteerism Initiative Award is province wide in scope and part of a national program that honours the incredible work of the volunteer community.
Society volunteer Nancy Pearson has also won a Women of Distinction Award at a Gala Dinner in Victoria for her outstanding efforts as Society Press Relations officer. Way to go Nancy and Mark!
