Red stains and toxic residue are commonly found on discarded coffee filters and on walls and cabinets, etc. Perhaps you could call a meth clean-up crew in your area and ask them.( fireman or first responders.)

The National Jewish Health study on meth was the first to re--create a meth lab to train police and haz-mat crews and apparently red stains were produced from the red phosphourus, red devil lye and iodine crystals.

It is also noted that contamination to carpeted areas occurred by tracking the chemicals throughout the house from the kitchen or "cook."
