I just thought that this would be another outlet that I could use to continue to get the world out, that METH is killing us. I am a recovering meth/crack/pot user. I have to tell you though, that when i was using meth, i didnt use anything else, and when i quite meth, i had to turn to crack to help with it, because meth was to hard to quite on its own, ya, i mean it, it was easier to come off of crack cocaine then it was to come off meth. Meth just totally effects every part of who you are.
I'm not saying anyone should trade meth for crack just to get off, but at the time i didnt know any better, i just knew that meth was killing my brain, and fast, and I had to get off it, if i wanted to be a mom to my 3 yr old daughter. Meth was so powerful in my life, that when i decided to stop using it, i cried and cried curled up in a ball on me bed for days, crying because I wanted it, crying because i didnt want it, crying because it hurt physically not to have it, but more so mentally, because all i remember hearing in my head, was U CANT STOP, U KNOW U NEED ME....that is why i turned to crack.
Then 5.5 yrs ago, i made a huge change in my life, i decided that i had to get my life straightened out, i had to get clean, i had to be a mom to my now 3 daughters, and help anyone else that is stuck in that life. And i did, i am now a manager of a Drug and Alcohol short term housing and emergency shelter for addicts and street workers. I get to everyday, relive what i was, and encourage,the women i work with to become what i am....CLEAN!!!

GOD BLESS AND HELP ALL THE ADDICTS THAT ARE STILL BOUND BY THE CHAINS OF ADDICTION, AND GIVE ENDLESS GRACE AND STREGTH TO THE ONES THAT HAVE BROKEN FREE, TO HELP THEM TO STAY OUT OF THE DEPTHS OF HELL WE ALL KNOW THAT ADDICTION IS!!!!
