Hello. My name is Tamaira. I was a meth user for almost 3 years on and of and i was also the teen that ranaway in 2003 with my supposed boyfriend to Barrie, 0ntario when i was pregnant. I know what it is like to be jonesing for the next "line" or the next "boost" or just the next "high".
I only wish there was a better or more ways to help people who are suffering from what i know people that use just simply have nothing better to do or they just get bored with what they do.
i know thats what i did i got bored with everyday life and i was also having hard times in my life my baby was in and out of the hospital and i was in a verry bad relationship with a drug dealer who treated me very poorly and so i left home i went back to the streets of downtown victoria and started husseling and selling drugs mainly "weed" and "e" and sometimes "meth"
i lived on the streets for a majority of my SHORT lifde concidering that i am only 15 1/2 years old (my birthday is in dec.) i lived on the streets of victoria for almost 5 years i started running away and sleeping outside when i was at the tender age of 10 1/2 and ever since than i was on and off drugs.
i started at an early age and now i realize that there needs to be more places for homeless people to go for help and also there needs to be more places for people to go where they can just sit out of the cold and sleep i only wish the best for the people that are still out there.
i am now 106 days clean and sober and i have been in treatment for 96 days today and i still have 77 days befor i grad and i only hope that there is more people that try the road that i have chosen in the past 100 days and CLEAN UP because there is nothing the government can do to stop the drug user the only people that can stop it is the people that are doing the drugs
